You'll get to....
Safely Drive
You will safely drive clients along a pre-determined route following all traffic laws. This includes providing door to door service, assisting passengers to and from the vehicle, and ensuring they are secure in the vehicle.
Maintain Records
You will maintain records accurately and thoroughly including trip information, vehicle pre and post checks, incident reports, timesheets, and other relevant information.
Provide Great Service
You will provide great service to passengers that reflect the values of CCFW and the Transportation Department.
WORK HOURS
Hours are between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM, Monday-Friday. Looking for shifts of 8 AM to 4:30PM and 11:30AM to 7:30PM. This position may require flexibility to work various hours and possibly weekends, depending on current program needs.

ABOUT SOCIAL ENTERPRISES
The Social Enterprises Division at Catholic Charities Fort Worth is comprised of four unique Social Enterprises, each of which have a double bottom line to meet: Service for our clients and profit for our agency. A little about each of our Social Enterprises, TIN, Transportation, Dental Clinic and Immigration, below.
Transportation: Their mission is to provide transportation to individuals who do not have access to Transportation, to enhance an individual’s self-sufficiency. CCFW Transportation provides rides for employment, medical, education, public benefits offices and quality of life trips. It is our goal to develop the skill of planning for long-term transportation solutions for our clients. We will look for available options that meet each client’s needs whether they are elderly, disabled or looking for ways to reach their employment destinations.
Translation and Interpretation Network: TIN is a full service language access company founded in 1999 as a response to the language gaps found in the Fort Worth and Dallas areas. Since then we have flourished; expanding our face to face, over the phone, and on demand video interpreting as well as our translation, and consulting services.
Dental Clinic: Oral Healthcare is key to overall health. To service our communities’ dental needs, Catholic Charities Fort Worth provides high-quality dental care with a fee structure designed for low and moderate income families. Our Dental Practice provides professional care to children and adults alike with treatment plans based on patient needs. Services include preventive care, general services, and specialty services.
Immigration: Catholic Charities Fort Worth Immigration Consulting Services (ICS) provides legal assistance to individuals who are eligible under the law to apply for immigration benefits. Our focus is the reunification of families. Our services include personal consultation, application preparation and filing, and administrative legal representation for our clients. We cover all areas of family-based immigration, humanitarian relief, and citizenship services.
Experience
Required

• Ability to push/pull 250+ pounds, moving clients in wheelchairs
• 25+ years old and have possession of a safe driving record and valid license

Preferred

• Previous experience driving a cutaway bus preferred
• Excellent customer service
• Ability to operate passenger vehicles and a two-way radio and a tablet
• Knowledge of basic vehicle operating mechanics
• Prior experience driving passenger and small commercial vehicles or working with older adults and/or persons with disabilities
• 2 year(s): Professional driving experience preferred
