Our company is looking for a highly motivated G&A Accounts Payable individual to join our team to entering invoices and processing payments using skills in accounting, organization, time management and communication. An ideal candidate is a quick learner, efficient with technology and is a strong communicator.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for entering invoices and processing payments.
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers and team members.
  • Analyzes invoices and payments for accuracy, properly tracking them into the system to maintain accurate bookkeeping records and accurate reports.
  • Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
  • Processing transactions and payments while performing accounting duties and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors including W9 forms
  • Issuing and maintaining credit cards, transponders, etc. for company employees
  • Applying for and renewing business licenses for construction projects
  • Analyzing and maintaining workflow processes and approvals
  • Compiling reports and spreadsheets and preparing spreadsheets
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Working knowledge of accounting and financial processes
  • Computer Skills and being comfortable with computers, accounting software, spreadsheet software and other financial computer application
  • Able to effectively read and interpret information
  • Able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to notice errors
  • Professional business communication skills, including emailing, financial reporting and other department documentation

Physical requirements:

  • Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, keyboard, mouse or controls and reach with hands and arms.
  • Required to frequently sit or stand, talk and hear.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • College Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting or Finance preferred or working on completing a college degree in accounting
  • Accounting experience preferred

Completing skill test is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
