What You’ll Do

You’ll be involved in various duties on the loading team that may include:

• Building racks that are used in our shipping process.

• Loading racks into trucks with forklift.

• Locating the proper plants on the trailers and placing them on the conveyors or directly onto the shipping racks on truck.

• Unloading returned plants as necessary.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area on the dock.

• Assisting other departments and tasks as needed.

Who You Are

• Ideally, you’ll have experience working in agriculture.

• You are open to feedback.

• You enjoy working in a team environment and being supportive of co-workers.

• You are able to work in inclement weather conditions, i.e. hot, cold, and rainy.

• You have excellent driving skills and ideally, you’ll have experience driving a tractor, forklift or heavy equipment.

• You’ll have basic math, reading and writing skills

• You are open to working extended hours: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday during the off-season, during the peak but starting hours may vary and extend based on business need.
• You are able to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly or 50+ pounds on occasion, can stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, pull and push, and lift over your shoulders, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
