Natural Beauty Growers is a leader in the growing industry with approximately 60 acres of growing space at three locations in the Midwest. We are an independent vendor that supplies a wide variety of annual and vegetable plants to Home Depot Garden Centers. The merchandising team strives to create appealing displays and maintain the quality of the plants at store level. We are now hiring seasonal merchandisers. For those who love to be busy outdoors, college students coming home for the summer, a stay-at-home mom or dad wanting a few hours while the kids are at school, or just a 2nd job on the weekends for extra money, apply now, we are willing to accommodate!

Expectations:

• Expand plant knowledge while unloading carts of product to designated sales areas
• Condense trays and carts of flowers in a fast-paced environment
• Accurately record and remove unsaleable/poor-quality product
• Create, change, and expand signage during promotional ads
• Answer customer questions about Natural Beauty product while multitasking
• Favor action, a clean, and well-organized garden center
• Regularly communicate with Merchandising Manager; address watering issues, no cashiers, or gates being closed, etc

Requirements:

• Positive & adaptable attitude with willingness to learn
• Must be trustworthy and dependable
• Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently with limited supervision
• Plant knowledge in a personal or professional setting ideal
• Attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner
• One weekend shift; including Memorial Day weekend
• Prolonged periods of walking and standing with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Access to reliable transportation
• Willing to work in all weather (including beautiful sunshine)
