Columbus Brick, a division of General Shale Brick, is seeking a General Labor (Monorail Grader) for our manufacturing facility in Columbus, MS. This position is hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Handle brick as carefully to prevent chipping and breakage
- Stack brick into jigs
- Courses with voids should be carefully built so that holes for forks of forklift are aligned properly
- Inspect brick so as to maintain consistent color and quality through all packages
- Keep a clean work area
Applicants should possess and demonstrate the following skills:
- Great attendance
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Good health with no work restrictions (extreme hot/cold environments)
- Reliable transportation
