General Labor Paint Prepper Job at Big Tex Trailer Manufacturing Llc
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for a variety of functions throughout the production process. May use hand tools, power tools, and various equipment to assist in the assembly of raw materials to finished good.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
- Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
- Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
- Complete production tasks
- Operate machinery/tools correctly and maintain it with care
- Report any machinery/tool issues to Leadership
- Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
- Follow all written and verbal instructions
- Attend all safety and production training
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
- Able to work overtime as needed, including extended hours and weekends
- Other duties, as necessary
- Must be 18 years of age
- Preferred; Technical education courses, post-secondary institutions, such as vocational and technical institutes, community colleges, and/or training through the U.S. Armed Forces
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
May be able to lift heavy objects up to 40 lbs regularly. Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling and/or standing. Must wear ASTM 2413 Steel-Toe/Composite-Toe footwear, ear plugs, safety glasses, heat-resistant gloves, goggles, masks with protective lenses, and any other required equipment to prevent burns, eye injuries, and injury from falling objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

May work outdoors, often in inclement weather, or indoors, sometimes in a confined area designed to contain sparks and glare. When working outdoors, they may work on a scaffold or platform high off the ground.
