General Manager Job at Blue Loon Bakery
Blue Loon Bakery in New London, NH is looking for one general manager to join our 20 person strong team. We are located on 12 Lovering Lane. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities

*Ensure the bakery runs according to established operating policies and procedures *Manage the bakery cost-effectively and efficiently *Prepare, present, share, and discuss daily reports with owner *Oversee bakery administrative duties *Conduct pre-shift meetings, communicate to bakers/staff about operational details *Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction. *Conduct menu engineering and sales analysis on a regular basis and recommend areas to minimize costs and maximize revenue *Correct any deviations from quality standards and service procedures swiftly through on the job training, one on one’s, and testing. *Establish and maintain a clean, welcoming bakery environment. *Train staff to ensure a high-quality customer experience, focusing efforts to exceed guest expectations at every opportunity *One weekend shift a week required
Qualifications

*Hospitality Degree / Bachelor's Degree preferred *3-5 years of general manager experience *Expertise in ordering, inventory management, labor management, and scheduling *Excellent customer service skills *Exceptional training skills *Familiarity with artisan bread and pastry baking
