Hartig Drug is seeking a motivated, team oriented, part time Giftware Merchandiser to join their winning team in Waukon, IA. This position supports the retail stores with merchandising, inventory control, and signage of giftware department.
Essential Job Functions
- Merchandise the giftware department attractively with guidelines set forth by Hartig Drug Company
- Works as a partner with the store team to assist in growing the department
- Train store employees how to correctly label, merchandise, and sell in the giftware department
- Analyze inventory status in backrooms and storerooms and keep detailed notes on inventory at each store and suggest transfers or markdowns
- Giftware Merchandiser is not allowed to make any major changes without the approval of the store manager
- Work with the Retail Store Manager at each location on plans, goals, and sales expectations for the giftware department
- Assist Retail Store with transitions after certain holidays
- Review inventory notes with buyers on a regular basis
- Complete work on a timely basis
- Assist patients and customers in retail store
- Works well in a team environment
- Portrays the company in a positive image
- Required to abide by all rules, regulations and policies of the employer
