Global HR Specialist Job at MMC Corporate
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days required in our midtown Manhattan office
Job Summary:
In this position, the Global HR Specialist will have the unique opportunity to lead the coordination, dissemination and synthesis of HR data and deliverables across several global programs in the MMC Technology Function. The work in this position will include the creation of materials for senior leaders across talent reviews, colleague engagement surveys and our year-end compensation process, as well as ad-hoc projects to support leaders in making important people decisions. This role will report to and support our Chief People Officer for Technology for 50% of the time and will support two Global Senior People Partners for the remaining 50%.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as key support to Sr. HR Leaders in all talent management activities including performance management, engagement, career development and diversity and inclusion activities.
- Supports management with the execution of the business and HR plans including human capital change initiatives, talent acquisition, retention, reward/recognition and execution of actions resulting from organization re-design.
- Establishes contacts across the HR function to ensure all transactional, operational and other needs are managed in a timely and seamless fashion; liaises with HR colleagues as necessary to resolve issues or queries.
- Manages projects for key people initiatives, including developing project plans, tracking progress against deadlines, and creating materials to communicate with key stakeholders.
- Supports the execution of the year-end compensation and promotion processes in partnership with Sr. HR Leaders
- Partners with Shared Services to provide meaningful analytics to the business which can be used to inform decision-making.
- Partners with Global Mobility to execute on mobility assignments for Managers and Colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with HR processes and data
- A strong client focus with outstanding judgment
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Collaborative, resourceful and proactive, with excellent attention to detail & project management skills
- Must be flexible and able to work in a high volume, fast-paced deadline and data driven environment
- An analytical mindset including a proficiency in analyzing, organizing and using data
- Strong technical skills, including intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; familiarity with Workday a plus
- Able to develop strong relationships across a diverse client base

The applicable base salary range for this role is $72,000 to $144,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
