How you’ll shape the future of the Global Sourcing Department:
- Ability to follow and craft company chemical markets and strategy
- Opportunity to negotiate contracts on behalf of the company
- Shape management points of view on industry
- Work with partners within industry and company
- As an international company, you’ll be involved in working with companies and individuals across North America and Europe
You’ll be someone who can bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 1-4 years of professional experience
- Basic understanding of contract law, team facilitation and project management, communication development with all levels of an organization
- Basic understanding of operational needs in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Ability to develop and deliver sound communications to all levels of the organization (range ship floor to Senior Executives)
- General understanding of economic principals and supplier markets plus the ability to perform market analysis
- Basic knowledge of accounting, transportation and computer systems
- Basic understanding of contract law as they apply to negotiating contract
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Bi-Lingual (English/French) is preferred
