The Graphic Designer leads the graphic and visualization process to support external new business acquisition as well as internal brand consistency. Learn how to grow your skills in layout and visualization, project management, and transform technical information into exciting designs. This is a non-exempt position and serves as an ambassador of the RKA brand to internal and external clients.

Primary Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Creates external and internal graphics (digital and print) for pursuits, corporate communications, and business services department.
  • Guide subject matter experts through the visualization process from concept to final design; collaborate with subject matter experts and marketing team to create designs to effectively communicate RKA’s message.
  • Manages graphic design efforts for large-scale and complex projects (digital and print) from kick off to completion with minimal guidance.
  • Maintaining brand consistency across all internal and external products.
  • Apply creativity and strategic insight while leading brainstorming, storyboarding, and other strategy development sessions.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership on special initiatives.
  • Performs QA/QC of proposals, presentations, marketing collateral, and communications for adherence to branding guidelines, key messaging, and compliance.
  • Manages print production tasks including cutting, laminating, etc.
  • Maintains graphics and marketing data.
  • Creates external and internal graphics for digital and print mediums.
  • Conduct project/client research such as competition analysis, industry trends, etc.
  • Coordinates with vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Education: Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics-related field

Experience: 2+ years of design experience for professional services (A/E/C preferred)

Skills:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and consistency for corporate branding
  • Strong illustration and layout skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic thinking
  • Ability to function in a team setting and provide and take direction from colleagues
  • Ability to collaborate with a range of professionals
  • Ability to assess problems and implement solution
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines

  • Photography, video production, visualization, Constant Contact, HTML, or WordPress skills are a plus
