Tempur Sealy International is looking for a passionate and creative Graphic Designer to join our growing team in Lexington, KY.

The Graphic Designer role will own the creation and execution of various visual graphics and marketing assets across all brands in our portfolio. From creative concept through to execution, this candidate will have a keen focus on the consumer experience and bring our brands to life consistently across various channels leveraging creative, typographic and conceptual skills. A wide degree of creativity and flexibility is expected.

This position includes the full process of digital design from conception through completion on various revolving projects. Candidate will require the ability to flex into the development of other marketing materials, such as trade show graphics, print inserts, selling tools and more. This candidate is expected to support the marketing department on various projects and administrative tasks as needed.

This candidate will also support the marketing team with foundational content creation efforts, inclusive of photoshoot coordination, content concepting, retouching needs, editing support and more, to creatively develop brand and product storytelling assets that can be leveraged across various marketing materials. This role will report to the Creative Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure brand consistency of visual identity across media/platforms
  • Collaborates with the Creative Marketing Manager and cross-functional partners to execute compelling on-brand, customer-driven graphic & visual solutions
  • Creates marketing and promotional materials for e-commerce and digital platforms, including but not limited to e-commerce sites, product pages, enhanced content, landing pages, web banners, digital ads/display banners, email & social content, and more
  • Potential to flex into developing other marketing creative deliverables, including but not limited to, print collateral, signage, trade show graphics, sales support materials, etc.
  • Assists in guiding external production partners on brand guidelines and design aesthetics to ensure brand standards across content
  • Work both independently and within teams to conceptualize, design and produce marketing and communications materials for digital and print
  • Strong photoshop skills - Ability to retouch and edit photos for marketing assets as needed
  • Organizes and catalogs current and old archive files and assets (marketing materials and imagery) on the creative server. Owns distribution of content to various partners
  • Supports administrative marketing tasks as needed
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in graphic design or a related field, or significant equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of graphic design experience creating engaging, performance-driving marketing assets
  • A strong portfolio that showcases aesthetic awareness and design problem solving abilities.
  • A high level of proficiency using Adobe products like InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain design decisions in words and writing.
  • The ability to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from project stakeholders into your design work.
  • An appreciation for and awareness of emerging design trends in print and digital.
  • Able to learn new tools and processes quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles including composition, typography, color theory, infographics, photography and illustration.

Nice to Have

  • Adobe After Effects skills
  • Illustration, 3D design and animation skills
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail or CPG
  • Basic marketing and customer experience knowledge
