Graphics Manager Job at Auto Truck Group
What will you do?
- Manage Auto Truck Group’s Graphics Department to include material sourcing, pricing, execution, and delivery of all products within defined times and terms
- Develop pricing structure of all products to meet market pricing
- Manage variable costs and execute on all cost savings initiatives
- Review, understand, and make recommendations to improve warehouse, operations, and logistical functions
- Maintain quality standards for all production
- Work with Sales Department on developing new customer base
- Work with Procurement Department to develop various suppliers
- Monitor all product return processes for compliance with contract terms
- Create tight processes to ensure inventory is protected from theft or other means of loss
- Work with HR to ensure we are fully staffed
- Oversee the hiring, performance management, and evaluation of all team members
- Assess talent and coach and develop your regional teams and partners to deliver results and prepare for succession
- Uphold the Holman culture that models the core values of the organization
- Meet periodically with the manufacturers to ensure communication and gain more business
- Travel required (30%+)
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Six Sigma Black Belt and/or APIC’s Certification a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-awareness and emotional intelligence –leaders who acknowledge the “how” of how we get there is equally important to “what” we’re trying to achieve
- 5+ years’ experience working in the automotive or related industry
- 5+ years’ leadership experience preferred
- P&L experience of at least $10M in revenue a positive
- Knowledge of graphics production and processes
- Team leadership experience (5+ direct reports)
- High-level knowledge of business operations
- Ability to plan, monitor, enhance and manage a fast paced multi-location environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills- able to communicate plans, processes and policies Ability to provide feedback to employees and recommendations to company leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally
- Ability to influence decision makers at the highest levels of our customers’ organizations
