Groundskeeper/Maintenance Job at Colloca Estate Winery
Duties include:
- Estate grounds keeping including mowing, weed whacking, pruning, trimming, and general landscaping tasks of planting flowers, trees, shrubs, and maintaining them to finished specifications including mulch application, etc.
- New construction landscaping coordination including assistance with site work of new projects and landscaping completion tasks such as application of top soil and grass seed, etc.
- Event set-up for Weddings and Events including erecting white tents, dance floor installation, set-up of tables and chairs and all other tasks to banquet order.
- Vineyard maintenance to include installation of new vineyard plots and drainage tile, planting, and all aspects of vineyard management including pruning, training, trellising, spraying, weed management, disease prevention, viticulture techniques, and harvest.
- Maintenance and repair of all Estate Farm Equipment in a timely manner
Abilities
- Ability to operate equipment such as mowers, weed whackers, chainsaws, tractors, forklifts, trencher, bobcat, etc.
- Provide general maintenance and servicing of vineyard equipment
- Ability to provide minor repairs to most equipment
- Skilled at meticulous attention to detail in creating a first class appearance of our property and grounds at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
