This is a newly created position. It is somewhat of a hybrid. (Staffing Manager and potentially Designated Coordinator). You will handle staffing for three group homes in Ramsey County. You will create and post schedules for our three group homes. You will assist in filling all shift "holes." You will share shift openings with available staff, on call staff and FLOAT staff. In emergencies you may be responsible to fill shifts if no one else is available.

You must have GREAT People skills. (You must be articulate, patient and kind even when you don't want to be or people are not kind to you.)

You must have good organizational skills. (Experience with Google Docs, and web positing is helpful.) You will assist in advertising for positions, interviewing and hiring. You will help with training and retraining new staff.

You must learn things quickly and be able to teach staff how to perform their positions.

You must be professional even when others are not.

You must be efficient and comfortable responding to staffing situations at all times of the day, and weekends. You must not do another job with this, although you likely will not work FT, you will always be attached to your phone. (Your must be able to respond to staffing emergencies quickly.)

You must have experience working in group homes with people with developmental disabilities. We do not have high behavior homes, but having experience with behaviors, Parkinson's Disorder, Bi Polar Disorder, and Spectrum Disorders are important.

YOU MUST have a reliable vehicle driver's license and insurance. Preferably a Med passing certificate and CPR.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
