Guest Connections Ministry Leader for Guest Experience Dream Team Leaders is responsible for cultivating a culture of hospitality through serving. Provide direction and maintain an environment of positive commitment to the vision and mission of Trinity. Guest Connections teams include: Ushers, Greeters, Guest Connections, Trams, Prayer Team and Parking Lot Team.
The Leader will lead the Volunteer Guest Experience Dream Team leaders in these areas across 5 services weekly in these areas.

The Leader will lead the Volunteer Guest Experience Dream Team leaders in these areas across 5 services weekly in these areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and facilitate training for team onboarding and development.
- Provide vision casting for establishing the Trinity culture throughout the team.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for weekly onsite services.
- Recruit, develop, coach and lead volunteers and volunteer team leaders.
- Implement specific and measurable goals for the Guest Experience team through scheduling volunteer teams, targeting volunteer appreciation, and managing administrative details for the ministry area.
- Engage during weekly services connecting with volunteers.
- Prepare for all services, guest experience, assimilation, and special events.
- Responsible for a weekly digital communication piece that serves to inform, inspire, and connect people at Trinity. (Communication must reflect Trinity’s values and culture). Work with Marketing Director on design to reflect the brand of Trinity.
- Create and send a weekly connections text through Touchpoint.
- Assist with upholding guidelines for the Trinity Life Ministry area in Trinity Central through ServiceU.
- Assist with all Dream Team training, development, and appreciation initiatives to include:
- bi-annual training for all volunteers,
- team specific training,
- volunteer conferences, and
- team specific appreciation events.
- Work alongside the Trinity Life Team in providing leadership and care for upwards of 300 volunteers on the Dream Team.
- Master TouchPoint software platform within the first 60 days and then ongoing.
- Maintain appropriate inventory for all guest experience related areas.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma required. College education and/or degree preferred. 3-5 years related experience preferably ministry or non-profit environment with employment/volunteer knowledge. Requires leadership ability, organizational, interpersonal skills and mastery for administrative details. Ability to train and motivate team members, have difficult conversations, be relationally engaging with all individuals. High level of proven written and verbal communication skills. Ability to make small group presentations and strong desire to collaborate with other ministry areas. Vision and ability for event planning, implementation, continual attention to detail while establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Google Workspace with the ability to learn data management programs, scheduling platforms and other new applications.
Must be skillful at leading others through influence. A positive, welcoming attitude is key for the entire Dream Team. Modeling through engaging conversation, attention to each person, and energy will set the tone for the entire team. Being confident to step into a role with responsibility ensuring volunteer positions are fully staffed requires high attention to detail throughout the year.
Be an engaging communicator and caring shepherd. This role is often the first phone call a volunteer will make when they have a spiritual concern, need, or difficulty in their life. Providing care, prayer and coaching is an important part of letting the team know they are cared for.
