Guidance Counselor (Anticipated)
Location:
Special Education – Maywood School
Basic Function:
To provide counselling and guidance services for students and teachers throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
A. NYS teaching certification in School Counselling
B. Experience with students with social/emotional needs preferred
C. Experience with secondary students preferred.
Responsibilities:
1. To provide services for students with special needs.
Start Date:
2023–2024 school year
Application Deadline:
March 17, 2023 (or until position is filled)
Starting Salary:
Dependent upon step of current contract prorated to the amount of service rendered.
The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
