Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in industry relations and partnerships.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, go-to-market strategy, management consulting, and public policy.

  • Experience managing high-performing teams and preserving team culture.
  • Experience working with brands, ad agencies, or publishers.
  • Knowledge of and passion for partnering with advertising industry associations.
  • Understanding of the business and public policy landscapes and the digital advertising industry.
  • Ability to be a thought leader and build trusted relationships, influencing decisions or driving consensus on priorities.

About the job

In this role, you will lead Google’s team that manages partnerships with influential advertising industry associations across the Americas.


You will craft and implement our regional Industry Relations strategy, in support of the business and policy priorities. You will also align regional with global Industry Relations priorities, which will involve working with Global and regional Industry Relations teams, as well as cross-functionally with internal Google teams (e.g., Sales, Public Policy, Product, Marketing, PR, Partnerships, Go-to-Market (GTM), Communications, etc.).


You will be tasked with building trusted partnerships with ad industry association leaders, and support/empower our Americas Industry Relations Managers to build trusted partnerships with national leaders in the region.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to work on important issues facing the ad industry today, such as privacy, measurement, responsible media and social/economic impact.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $205,000-$301,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain external relationships with industry association leaders in the Americas region, becoming a trusted partner.
  • Manage the regional strategy and day-to-day operation of the Americas Industry Relations team and function. Align local and regional industry priorities with our Global Industry Relations strategy.
  • Understand goals for partners to develop joint partnership opportunities to match the needs with Google experts.
  • Advocate for and coordinate product and ads policy announcements in America, ensuring industry partners are briefed and have an opportunity to provide feedback.
  • Monitor industry trends, and product and policy feedback. Work with the Global Director of Industry Relations to ensure industry views are taken into account for global strategy.
