This position is the manager on a national level of all direct salespeople and territories in the US and Canada. The main objective is to accelerate sales growth by engaging, training, motivating and supporting the direct sales force. As the leader of the national sales team, you will evangelize the Trident System and leak detection for commercial and residential properties. You will also be responsible for ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through defining objectives, strategies, and action plans, and measuring performance against those plans, to rapidly grow revenues for the Company.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Manage, and grow existing direct sales people. Select key regions to focus sales resources.

Lead strategic sales planning efforts for the Company. Establish specific goals and quotas for each direct sales region.

Execute Strategic Plan for the Company as outlined by the Strategic Plan documents

Energizes and motivate the sales team on a daily basis while developing innovative sales strategies.

Works closely with Management to prioritize sales efforts and outcomes.

Possess an in-depth knowledge of each sales regions’ business and what drives success in their preferred vertical markets

Work with the Company’s VP of Key Accounts and Channel Sales to promote, scale and maximum territory coverage with direct and independent rep resources.

Actively communicate sales performance targets and measure individual performance monthly.

Represent the Company externally at trade association meetings to promote product.

Possess an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s business and what drives our success.

Work with Marketing to develop and execute sales priorities for individual solutions or verticals, understands emerging marketplace trends and develops programs to address.

Review Sales Reports showing sales volume and potential sales. Take corrective action to optimize market conditions.

EDUCATION

BA/BS Degree in Engineering or Business preferred but a Bachelor's Degree is not required.
MANAGEMENT

Salary Range: $150K to $170K
Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 10 years Sales experience in a technical industry focused on commercial buildings

Must possess both strategic and tactical sales skills

Exceptional presentation and written communication skills

Knowledge of commercial, corporate and/or multifamily real estate industry and professional contacts in the US

Proven ability to sell at multiple levels within an organization, from Vice President to Chief Engineer

Collaborative management style, possessing the art of bringing team members and resources together quickly and effectively to produce win-win results

Experience in sales, consensus building, arbitration, and project management

Cultural sensitivity and flexibility to work effectively within a global environment
-
Ability to motivate and lead distributor and rep organizations, including assisting them to develop regional marketing and sales strategies

Experience with water systems a plus
