Current Need
McKesson is seeking a Health Systems Supply Analyst to join their team in Irving, TX.
Position Summary
The Health Systems Supply Analyst is a newly created role responsible for health system inventory optimization, maximizing profitability on health system inventory, and coordinating backup buys when shortages arise.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor inventory stock and service level reports to detect possible shortages and areas for supply chain improvement.
Collaborate with buyers, product management, and manufacturers to identify the key drivers of shortages by generic family, therapeutic classes, and other alternatives.
Determine candidates for backup inventory based on market share, customer contracts, formulary, and pricing.
Coordinate backup buys and inventory builds across the portfolio for McKesson Health Systems.
Work with Sourcing and Generic Program teams to identify any sourcing or formulary changes.
Help facilitate allocations and align inventory strategies.
Track, monitor, and report on fill rate and profitability improvements tied to inventory and sourcing actions.
Interfaces with MHS Marketing and Communication teams to ensure field sales teams are aware of actions taken mitigate shortages
Achieve profitability, Net Promoter Score, and employee opinion survey goals.
Engage with McKesson Health Systems leaders to ensure actions taken are consistent with the needs of the business.
Minimum Requirements
4+ years of supply chain experience (8+ preferred).
Expert understanding of demand forecasting and/or supply chain.
Experience with SQL.
McKesson supply chain or Hospital experience a plus.
Critical Skills

Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects) and databases (SQL).

Education
Bachelor’s degree required.
Degree preference in Supply Chain Management or Data Science.

Our Base Pay Range for this position
