Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking a Heavy Civil Construction Scheduler to be located at our corporate headquarters in Coppell, Texas. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.


The Scheduler prepares summary level and detailed schedules for proposed and current construction projects using Primavera P6 scheduling software.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepares detailed schedules for project pursuits and ongoing projects.
  • Maintains schedules on a monthly basis for ongoing projects.
  • Visit and walk projects to gather update/actual information.
  • Set up cost/resource loading of schedules (and reporting) when required.
  • Maintains historical schedule data and provide or report on historical data when required.
  • Provides scheduling training to personnel as required.
    • This will include schedule fundamentals and policy, as well as P6 software training.
  • Provide 'technical support' to those employees maintaining their project schedules for their specific projects.
  • Interface with the Project Manager, Superintendent and project team with regard to schedule actuals and projections, along with planning workflow and phasing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in construction management or related degree is required
  • Minimum 5 years construction experience and 3+ years’ of experience in Heavy Civil Scheduling
  • Strong knowledge of construction systems and trade sequencing
  • Presentation skills required in meetings and in training
  • Must be able to read plan drawings
  • Primavera (Oracle) P6 version 16+ experience
