Heavy Diesel Shop Team Leader Job at North American Bulk Transport
North American Bulk Transport, in business for over 70 years, is looking for a Shop Team Leader for their Terminal in Frederick, MD
JOB DUTIES:
- Responsible for scheduling and maintaining company equipment.
- Supervise Technicians, daily work schedules, including quality of repairs.
- Keep Technician’s Personnel training currant and up to date.
- Safety and Security of the shop should always be a top priority.
- Be involved with work being performed in the shop, assist and mentor with guidance and advice.
- Responsible for creating / closing RO’s and PO’s as well keeping paperwork currant.
- Keep inventory at suitable levels, keep parts room organized.
- Keeping equipment in compliance with FMCSA.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Stand, bend, lift up to 75 lbs.
WORK CONDITIONS: Shop Environment.
EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES USED: Tools used to repair tractors and trailers, computer diagnostics, proprietary software, shop vehicle, fork lift, office equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS: Experienced as a Technician, Supervisor experience, and prefer Technical school graduate.
JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Supervise and schedule Technician’s daily tasks.
- Must be able to prioritize, able to adjust quickly to changing tasks
- Time Management
- Effective safety compliance
- Experienced Technician skills
- Experience with diagnostic software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.50 - $34.90 per hour
