Job description
We are in search of an EXPERIENCED equipment diesel technician/mechanic to join our team. Candidates must be able to work on various makes and models of heavy construction equipment. Employees will work in our yard as well. Job requires a valid driver's license, experience with diesel powered heavy.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be able to work on various makes and models of heavy construction equipment
- Job requires valid driver's license, experience with diesel powered heavy construction equipment, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm in workplace
- Knowledge in Heavy Equipment Hydraulics, Electrical, able to Troubleshoot
- Ability to use manufacture software for diagnoses
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Basic Computer Skills | Responsibilities
- Perform minor and major repairs on construction equipment
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance and periodic maintenance
- Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop
- Perform regular diagnostic tests on equipment with and without proprietary manufacture communication software
- Collaborate with other employees and management to diagnose problems and plan repairs
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles benefits
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have 2+ years of experience
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Other: Valid Drivers’ License Class C
