Position Summary
This position is responsible for working in general labor positions on the factory floor, which include bundling, stacking, loading, and unitizing on converting and corrugating machine centers, and filling trainee positions on the factory floor to learn specific tasks and responsibilities that come with setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining converting and corrugating machine centers.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Work safely in a factory environment, including adhering to all company safety policies and procedures
- Identify the specifics of corrugate stock, including flute, substrate, and liner variations
- Bundling, stacking, loading, and unitizing of corrugate material into or off of converting or corrugating machine centers
- Hand manipulation, hand pack, and manual break apart of corrugate material
- Training as an operator, assistant operator, or machine helper on specific converting or corrugating machinery
- Performing clean up and preventative maintenance of the general factory, automated rails, and the converting, corrugating, and ancillary equipment
- Quality checks of manufactured material to ensure it is manufactured to customer specification
- Identification and removal of non-conforming material from an active production line
- Interpret and understand order information presented on factory shop cards and specifications sheets
- Identify proper materials, parts, and tools as needed for specific orders and machine centers
- Demonstrate an ability to satisfy or exceed production expectations on an hourly and daily basis
- Mathematically calculate and record production data as needed, and input production data into company specific software programs
- Work as a productive team member in a union environment
