High Energy Bartender Position
Smuggler's Run on the River is Metro Detroit's Newest and most unique Concert, Nightclub and Live Entertainment Venue situated right on the Detroit River. Located in Wyandotte MI. we feature Michigan's largest Tiki Bar with 20,000 sq ft of waterfront patio area with band stage. We also have one of the largest inside bars with another 12,000 sq ft inside with one of the largest dance floors and an indoor stage with state start of the art sound and lights. We are looking for Metro Detroit's best bartenders who can handle high volume and a fast paced environment. Job Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
- Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift
- Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately
- Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment
- Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed
- Other duties as requested
