What You'll be Doing
We are looking for a Fleet Technician Diesel Mechanic to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment including gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, forklifts, tankers, and trailers.
You'll report to The Regional Fleet Manager in this role.
Hiring in Dallas, Plano, and San Antonio TX!
Compensation Package
$5000 Sign On Bonus (payable in installments per BTB payment terms)
Pay Range: $27 - $31 / hour
Additional pay .30/hr until 6 pm then .50/hr after 6 pm
Schedule
Monday – Friday, No weekends!
2nd shift schedule
Start times: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
End times: 12:00 am - 12:30 am
During a Typical Day, You'll
Troubleshoot and repair fleet vehicles and equipment
Program and record assigned preventative maintenance tasks
Assist in education of our Route Drivers with pre and post-trip inspections
Receive and process invoices for payment
Act as vendor billing point of contact as needed
Maintain parts inventory and budget
Maintain your work area ensuring organization and cleanliness
Ensure safe work practices
Perform other duties as requested

What You Bring to the Role
Three years hands-on experience in commercial fleet repair
HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Ability to stand for long periods of time; lift to 60 lbs and work outdoors
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Ability to obtain a CDL B license w/airbrake endorsement and ASE T4 certification
The ability to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Cummins, Ford, or other engine manufacturer diagnostic tool proficiency
Your own personal tools to perform the job duties required
