Seasonal Production Associate

The Company is headquartered in Washington, DC and operates a manufacturing facility in Richmond, KY.

WHO YOU ARE:

This position involves working with your hands to care for our customer’s art in our manufacturing facility. You’ll be trained to expertly frame the art and craft custom picture frames for our customer’s orders. The ideal candidate has worked in a manufacturing environment that required flexibility and teamwork. Artistic background (painting, woodworking, scrapbooking, etc.) is a plus. No prior framing experience is required, we will train you.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle projects that require a wide range of framing and/or art handling skills
• Complete anything from mounting and matting to finishing and quality control
• Ensure any unique or special customer requests are accurately completed
• Correctly follow art handling procedures and ensure the integrity of the artwork is always upheld
• Communicate effectively across teams any quality concerns or special notes on specific customer orders
• Work safely and complete orders using Framebridge operating procedures

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability/desire to consistently produce high-quality work
• Must be able to operate a tape measure and measure various frame styles and techniques to the exact, specific measurement consistently
• Flexibility in scheduling
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new and innovative framing techniques and tools
• Team player and go-getter with strong multitasking skills who thrives in a bustling environment
• Good time-management and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. and work on your feet all day
