Caring People Home Health is a private pay home care agency that is seeking a Business Development professional to join our team of Home Care Consultants. Caring People is a privately held licensed healthcare agency that has been in business for over 20 years with offices throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, and Texas. We are a service-based company that provides peace of mind to the geriatric community through caregiving. THIS POSITION IS FOR THE FAIRFILD, CONNECTICUT AREA!

The Home Care Consultant-Business Development will report to the Regional Director of Business Development and is responsible for building the Caring People brand across the Fairfield, CT community. These relationships will lead to referral opportunities within local healthcare systems and community based organizations serving the geriatric community. This is an OUTSIDE sales position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients/accounts
  • Promote the company’s services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients/accounts

Skills

  • Proven working experience in business development, sales or a relevant role
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a sales position for either a healthcare company or home healthcare agency
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Market knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Must have a positive attitude, a high level of self-motivation and be results driven
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
