American CareQuest, a fully accredited Home Healthcare agency in San Francisco, is actively recruiting licensed Home Health Aides to serve our home-bound patients in the SF Bay Area including San Francisco and San Mateo counties.

The Home Health Aide (HHA) is responsible for providing personal care to patients in their homes, under the supervision and direction of the registered nurse (RN). This many include simple procedures as an extension of therapy services, assisting with medications, and some household services essential to health care. The HHA is responsible for reporting changes in the patient's condition to the RN and completing visit notes in timely manner.

• Per Diem position schedule so that you can control how much you make with our Pay-Per-Visit structure with potential Full Time
• Mileage/ Parking reimbursements

Responsibilities:

• Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures.
• Performs personal care, bath and hands-on care as assigned.
• Completes appropriate visit records in a timely manner as per Agency policy.
• Reports changes in the patient’s condition and needs to the RN.
• Performs household services essential to health care in the home as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current California HHA License
• Current CPR/ BLS Certification
• Valid Driver's License
• 1 Year: HHA experience (preferred)
