Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Schedule: Part Time 24 hours p/week - 18 points p/week
* Non-traditional schedules are available, i.e., Thursday-Monday
Locations: Area #45 covering Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village

About the Position: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) performs only those services planned, delegated, and supervised by the Registered Occupational Therapist. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants aid in the provision of rehabilitative services for people suffering from mental, physical, emotional or developmental impairments. Occupational Therapist Assistants help clients with rehabilitative activities and exercises outlined in a treatment plan developed by an Occupational Therapist.

* Please allot for one week of training prior to seeing patients in the field.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• CPR or BLS Certification
• Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant desired
• Open to entry level or candidates with no prior home health experience
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance
