Homeless & Basic Needs Case Manager Job at Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency
Extends program services to the community, provides crisis intervention and coordinates resources for those households at-risk or currently experiencing homelessness. Is a public advocate for homeless.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human services/related field or a combination of education and experience. Experience in conflict resolution, crisis stabilization, and counseling and case management methods. Knowledge of available community resources needed. Creative problem-solving skills helpful.
Needed Attributes: Ability to work with people from a variety of economic and cultural backgrounds. Must be flexible with excellent organizational skills. Capable of working independently within a team.
Essential Functions:
- Conducts program marketing and outreach.
- Provides direct financial assistance from a variety of resources.
- Performs individualized counseling and crisis intervention in office and off-site home visits.
- Coordinates daily operations of the homeless units.
- Maintains data practices in confidence.
- Maintains active client files to ensure program requirements.
- Provides reports as required by funding sources and completes applications for a variety of programs.
- Represents the Agency at community meetings and serves as liaison between the homeless and local community and asserts public relations efforts.

FT Homeless & Basic Needs Case Manager needed in Hibbing, MN. 40 hrs/wk. Starting wage: $23.60/hr. Increase to $24.90 after successful probation. Please apply by December 11, 2022. AA/EOE
