The Homemaker will work in our memory support household, Meadow View, an innovative, new memory support community offering opportunities for people with dementia to live resiliently, regain their dignity and find purpose.

What will I do in this role with Garden Spot?
As a Homemaker, supporting the Garden Spot Communities' mission will include the following responsibilities:
- Carry out the function of the Meadow View kitchen, including meal preparation, service and cleanup, as well as the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area.
- Fully integrate as a household team member with responsibilities in all facets of the resident's life.
- Guides residents as they develop a culture of home within each Household, encouraging residents' resilience, to thrive in the face of significant life challenges.
What do I need for this role with Garden Spot?
- Must be able to read menus, diet orders, recipes and understand measurement and categories of food for special diets.
- Must be 18 and have either a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have or be willing to obtain ServSafe Certification.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and printed instructions.
- Must be efficient and organized, with a good sense of responsibility and a high degree of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
- An understanding of and willingness to live out our mission and values, providing compassionate person-centered care to all residents.
