LGC is looking to expand its team for Full-Time Kitchen Staff, Utility Workers, Buffet Servers, Cashiers in the Austin area near the airport.

Successful candidates will have previous hospitality experience, and a proven track record of professionalism, accountability, and team commitment!

Skills:

All LGC employees must be in uniform and ready to work at the meeting area listed at the start time. Not doing so could comprise job eligibility. Every shift requires that you check in & out with onsite contact for hours verification. Possible responsibilities are but are not limited to:

Utility Worker

· Comfortable in a fast pace-environment/heavy workload

· Sanitize commercial kitchens

· Use food safety practices to stock commercial refrigerators

· Haul trash in a commercial environment

· Operate an industrial dishwasher

· Maneuver around workers or guests without bumping or colliding

· Safely lift/move loads of 25+ pounds and occasionally handle loads of 50+ pounds

· Communicate effectively with management, guests, and coworkers

· Be able to take direction well with and work with limited supervision

Cashier

· Use a POS system and handle cash accurately and efficiently

· Provide exceptional customer service

· Remain outgoing and engaged while spending the day interacting with customers

· Communicate effectively with management, guests, and coworkers

· Maneuver around workers or guests without bumping or colliding

· Remain stationary for a majority of a shift (comfortable with lots of standing)

· Be able to take direction well with and work with limited supervision

Kitchen Staff

· Operate any station in the kitchen

· Can prepare mother sauces and implement cooking methods from memory

· Can use knife skills to chop quickly and safely, dice, mince, julienne, etc.

· Able to read, convert, and prepare written recipes while using food safety practices

· Prepare garnish and expertly plate and present dishes

· Familiar with safe food temperatures, storage, and sanitization practices

· Comfortable using commercial grill and fryer

· Communicate effectively with management and coworkers

· Maneuver around workers or guests without bumping or colliding

· Assist with cleaning at shift end- Be able to take direction well with and work with limited supervision

Requirements:

· Previous experience for the various position that is chosen

· Attention to detail

· A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
