Hotel Director of Sales Job at Hotel Indigo Central West End
Lodging One Hospitality is seeking an experienced, customer service oriented Hotel Director of Sales to oversee the sales efforts of our Holiday Inn Express/Hotel Indigo property. This property is currently under renovations to convert to a Hotel Indigo. Lodging One Hospitality is an award winning hotel ownership/management company that currently owns and/or operates 11 hotels and resorts in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Texas. Job Requirements & Responsibilities:
· Minimum of two years hotel sales experience
· A successful, progressive, work history
· Identify and develop new business transient and group business for the Corporate and Leisure markets
· Introduce new clients to the property via outside sales calls, cold call solicitation, networking, and site inspections
· Negotiate locally negotiated rates and group bookings with rooms and meeting space
· Penetrate market segmentation through cold call solicitation, e-marketing campaign blasts, site inspections, trade shows, conferences, and market segment events
· Assist in developing and reviewing monthly and yearly sales plans
· Assist General Manager with monthly reports
· Meet and/or exceed sales revenue goals, while routinely increasing market share
· Cultivate strong relationships with local and global corporate and group clients
· Show enthusiasm as a team player by engaging with other hotel associates and attending property events
· Assume responsibility for planning and coordinating all aspects of group meetings when needed
· Communicate contract and meeting details for locally negotiated rates and group events to hotel staff
· Actively participate in other Sales/Catering duties after contracting, such as setting up group master accounts, group rates, and locally negotiated rates in PMS system, assisting with reservations, some detailing of groups, group resumes/BEOs, and client billing
· Track sales activity and productivity in the Sales and Catering system
· Professional references required

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
