The primary purpose of this position is to perform housekeeping duties in designated area. Ability to follow work schedules, covering all phases of housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly, environment for residents, staff, and visitors..
The work schedule for this position is 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday – Friday (40 hrs per week).
This position is designated Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.
Salary Grade NC01; Recruitment Range $31,200.00 - $44,509.00

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
To receive credit for all of your work history and credentials, you must list the information on the application form. Qualified applicants must document on the application that they possess all of the following.
Documented housekeeping experience in a commercial / institutional setting.
Management Preferences:
- 3 years of commercial/institutional cleaning experience.
- Knowledge with various types of cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of floor polishing machinery.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work around residents with mental and physical handicaps.
Physical Requirements :
Standing, stooping, climbing, bending, lifting, pushing, and moving side to side is required for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 75lbs and slide or push 100 lbs.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Education and/or experience in housekeeping work that is directly related to the job.
