We are seeking an ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AIDE in Wausau, Wisconsin at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The Environmental Services Specialist provides a clean and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, staff and visitors at Wausau Hospital. Must be able to follow all applicable policies, procedures, schedules, sanitation and safety requirements.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of housekeeping standards and practices normally acquired through a demonstrated ability to read, write, and remember/follow verbal or written instructions.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent beneficial.
• Previous experience in a housekeeping department beneficial.
• Must be able to participate in 10 minutes of general stretching exercises at the beginning of each shift.
• Demonstrates proficiency in operating numerous pieces of floor care equipment such as high speed buffer, automatic scrubbing machine, carpet extractor and wet vacs.
• Possesses the ability to perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on floor care equipment.

Hours: 1.0 FTE, Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, weekend and holiday rotation. 80 hours per pay period. Benefits package available.
