Housekeeping - Houston Job at AVEDA Institutes and Neill Corporation
Ensures clean, orderly, and attractive rooms in corporate housing, company training centers, rental and executive properties by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the all the Neill managed properties
- Performs duties to ensure clean and orderly rooms for partners. (i.e. make beds, wash linens, dust, sweep, mop, take out trash, etc.)
- Obtains list of properties which need to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check outs in order to prepare work assignments.
- Advises all necessary parties of rooms ready for occupancy.
- Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies are on hand at both the houses and the corporate office.
- To ensure the correct use of cleaning agents on all surfaces
- To attend training when required, including but not limited to the Learning Lab.
- Examines rooms to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management.
- Attends team meetings to discuss partner' feedback, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
- To record, report and process lost property according to company procedures.
Attention to detail: Working carefully within the minimum time.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
