Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota has immediate openings for 1 part-time positions as a Housing Advocate in Rochester MN. These positions serve single adults experiencing long-term homelessness in site-based supportive housing apartment buildings. This position will be responsible for providing support to guests, maintaining documentation, facilitating building/community activities, and assuring a safe and welcoming environment.
CURRENT OPENINGS:
28 hours/week 6pm-1am including weekends, or 14 hours/week 6pm-1am including e/o weekend.
High School diploma or GED required. Prefer working knowledge of Harm Reduction, Housing First, and Trauma Informed Care. Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and working with a caseload preferred. Must be capable of relating to and advocating for diverse client needs and interests.
