Our Rapid Rehousing department is seeking a Housing Navigator to work collaboratively in engaging individuals who are experiencing homelessness find permanent housing. The Housing Navigator acts as an advocate for guests (clients) and is creative in identifying traditional and non-traditional housing opportunities as well as other resources to support the clients’ ability to obtain and maintain housing. The Housing Navigator builds relationships with community and government housing agencies and is resourceful in navigating the housing subsidy programs and process.
Requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in human service setting with working knowledge of integrated care planning and/or housing case management service delivery process required.
Or
- Advance education in human service with direct care experience working with homeless population.
- Access to reliable transportation or strong knowledge of and flexibility using public transportation.
