Your duties in our HR Team will include the following:

Employee Relations

• Facilitate participation of a diverse mix of associates in culture-building activities.
• Coach leaders in best employee relations practices and strategies for solving employee concerns, utilizing Weaver Values.
• Under direction from HR Department Leader, may gather input from Associates regarding employment practices, policies, and issues.
• Conduct investigations as necessary in response to associate issues/complaints.
• Associate disciplinary action – review write-ups and counsel leaders and associates on issues.
• Respond appropriately to unemployment claims.
• Provide insights to develop and implement personnel policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Recruiting and Onboarding

• Provide creative inputs and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed hiring criteria.
• Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies.
• Draft and accomplish internal and external job postings.
• Screen posting responses, accomplish behavior-based screening interviews, summarize results, and refer qualified candidates for further consideration and assessment.
• Schedule interviews with functional leaders and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other HR staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

• BS / BA /BBA degree in related field, or equivalent experience. HR or Business degree, preferred.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
• Proficient with applicant-tracking software.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
