Your duties in our HR Team will include the following:
Employee Relations
- Facilitate participation of a diverse mix of associates in culture-building activities.
- Coach leaders in best employee relations practices and strategies for solving employee concerns, utilizing Weaver Values.
- Under direction from HR Department Leader, may gather input from Associates regarding employment practices, policies, and issues.
- Conduct investigations as necessary in response to associate issues/complaints.
- Associate disciplinary action – review write-ups and counsel leaders and associates on issues.
- Respond appropriately to unemployment claims.
- Provide insights to develop and implement personnel policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Recruiting and Onboarding
- Provide creative inputs and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed hiring criteria.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies.
- Draft and accomplish internal and external job postings.
- Screen posting responses, accomplish behavior-based screening interviews, summarize results, and refer qualified candidates for further consideration and assessment.
- Schedule interviews with functional leaders and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other HR staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:
- BS / BA /BBA degree in related field, or equivalent experience. HR or Business degree, preferred.
- At least two years of related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with applicant-tracking software.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
