Position Overview

The HR Specialist Recruiter is responsible for the administration and management of new and replacement positions within the Company. This includes working with management on their needs in sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, and seeking out quality candidates and inviting them to apply for applicable positions in Idaho, Colorado, and Wyoming.

Essential Job Functions

  • Post all requisitions within the company, while making sure the job description and salary ranges are accurate for the job posting.
  • Research and contact community employment services, staffing agencies, job board and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by pre-screening / interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • As needed, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and; emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Conduct HR training for all new managers – training on job postings, hiring forms, reviewing candidates etc.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and administration of the Company’s job applicant tracking system such updating and adding job descriptions and other updates to ADP.
  • Attend Job Fairs and promote Stinker
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Human Resources or related field preferred with 1-2 years recruitment experience. Professional HR certification in Human Resources a plus.

  • Excellent understanding of Human Resource terminology and practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both with co-workers and over the telephone with outside and company personnel.
  • Ability to learn new concepts, organized and attentive to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to work effectively with all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, able to work with and through others to accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to make timely decisions and communicate those decisions
  • Dependable, reliable, flexible, patient, open to change and suggestions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, treat others with dignity and respect and maintain a positive attitude in the department.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed under normal office working conditions in a temperature-controlled environment.
  • May sit for long periods of time (generally an 8-hour shift) at a desk or computer terminal.

Work Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours a week

Shifts: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Days: Monday-Friday

Requirements: Bachelor of Human Resources or related field preferred with 1-2 years recruitment experience. Professional HR certification in Human Resources a plus.
