Texoma Community Center (TCC) is one of 39 Texas Community Centers, which are governmental entities as defined by Title 7 of the Texas Health and Safety Code.
Position Summary: The HR Specialist performs human resources administrative work coordinating with other departments as required. Champion a diverse workforce throughout the employee life cycle, including posting job positions, on-boarding, required trainings and benefits administration. Administers all employee benefits programs to include retirement and FMLA and other leave of absence request. Measures and monitors existing policies and procedures. Assists in administration and maintaining payroll for accuracy of benefit enrollments and changes. Complies and maintains benefit analysis and reports, plays a lead role in annual open enrollment process working with TCC brokers and Insurance Carriers. Conducts and educates new hires during the New Employee Orientation. Ensuring benefits are in compliance according to state and federal laws and TCC regulations. Assists in the administration of human resource responsibilities as assigned such as Time and attendance and payroll. Must be team player in the HR Department, working through recruiting and benefit problems providing solutions for teammates and being creative with new ideas for recruiting and benefit improvements. Foster a culture of trust and respect through continuous HR Improvement. Crucial to employee engagement activities Operates in a Trauma Informed method in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Texoma Community Center.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent field required.
- PHR certification is a plus but not required, or be willing to achieve certification
- Minimum of one (1) year of progressive experience across all HR functions including on-boarding new employees, benefits administration, compensation, employee relations, worker’s compensation, and conflict resolution.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel and HRIS systems (ADP preferred, but not required).

- Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively to maintain good working relationships with staff and healthcare providers
- Working knowledge in Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Staff Coordination and /or continuous quality improvements philosophies and principles is preferred
- Consistently practices Trauma-informed Model of Care, understands and considers the pervasive nature of trauma.
- The knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with individuals from different cultural backgrounds.

Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
