Responsibilities:
- Participates in the design and implementation of new systems and modification of existing applications
- The Specialist will collaborate with the HRIS department to develop the knowledge and skill to handle increasingly complex and sensitive requests and provide a higher level of support
- Demonstrates knowledge of core HR processes and communicates effectively to end users
- Provides assistance to leaders in completion of Self-Service (SS) transactions
- Escalates issues to appropriate parties to collaborate on resolution to provide best outcome possible
- Create basic step-by-step user guides to assist user end field and operations employees utilize the systems
- Responsible for maintaining and updating employee data, ensuring data accuracy, preparing reports and statistics, performing data analysis, and identifying data discrepancies
- Five (+) years HRIS specific experience
- Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in business, human resources, or related field.
- Demonstrate knowledge of HR functional operations and HR information systems, principles, methods, and practices.
- Knowledge of systems governance/security a plus
