Job Summary:
Under the supervision of The Vice President of Human Resources and Director of Human Resources the HR Assistant will assist the Human Resources Department with tasks to ensure that all employees are entered in the human resources information system, all personnel changes are accurately processed in a timely manner and all employees are accurately and timely paid in accordance with payroll schedules and federal and state laws.

What You Will Do?

  • Assisting Human Resources with processing of employee action forms
  • Conduct and schedule HR training for center-based staff
  • Conduct regulatory compliance audits, and disseminate the information out to center leadership
  • Completing employment verifications
  • Processing weekly and monthly reporting for Human Resources
  • Maintaining electronic employee personnel files
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining newly updated center-based pay scales
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested
  • Assist with new-employee background checks and purchasing credits
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Assist with Corporate and Regional staff onboarding.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma - REQUIRED
  • Bachelors Degree in human resources or related field/equivalent experience
  • At least two years related experience - REQUIRED
