Helping Hands Home Care Service is a unique organization that can provide Home Care/Personal Care (non medical) that specializes in care and daily living assistance to an array of individuals, Home Health that specializes in Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupation Therapy, Speech Therapy and Social Work and Hospice with focus on support for client and family at end of life.

Helping Hands is rapidly expanding and looking for Human Resource Generalist to support all three of our divisions. Must be motivated, detailed oriented and possess good communication, organizational skills.

Duties:

  • Assist with payroll process.
  • Assist with Home Health and Hospice recruiting efforts and employee onboarding processes.
  • Oversee benefits programs.
  • Ensure adequate staff education and evaluations are completed.
  • Ensure employee file compliance.
  • Serve as a resource to management and employees in regard to HR policies/procedures, our Labor Agreement and employment law.
  • Represent the agency at community functions and professional organizations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Requirements, Key Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR preferred, Associates or 60 college level credit hours.
  • 1 year of prior HR experience preferred.
  • Self-starter, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, high level of organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal, state and local statutory regulations effecting human resources - hiring, termination, ADA, FMLA and all applicable regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Operational Vehicle; Valid Driver's License; Vehicle Registration; Vehicle Insurance.
  • Pre-Employment Screenings including Criminal Background, Physical Examination, TB Test, Drug Screen.
