TaraVista Behavioral Health is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator with solid experience in healthcare, specifically a hospital or clinical setting. This position is full time, 40 hours/week and required to be onsite. The Human Resource Coordinator aids and facilitates all Human Resource (HR) processes. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function for the health center as needed, including, but not limited to: answering phone inquiries, responding to e-mails, assisting employees that walk-in to HR, record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. Promoting a positive culture is essential. The Human Resource Coordinator reports directly to the Human Resource Director with additional guidance from the Human Resource Generalist.


How You Care for Our Patients


  • Welcoming newly hired employees and executing the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.
  • Send onboarding welcome emails
  • Run and verify new-employee background checks: references, education, CORI, SORI.
  • Schedule health screening for new hires: physicals, drug screening, titers.
  • Completes I-9 Form verification and documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Assists in the preparation of orientation requirements.
  • Manage the ID badge System.
  • Prepares new-employee files.
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Run monthly reports
  • Conducts audits of benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee/vendor requests and questions.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Assists in the administration of the Clinic’s health and other benefits plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Assist HR Generalist, Director of Human Resources, Director of Talent Acquisition and Recruiter as needed
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.

You Bring Meaningful Experience


Successful candidates will have the following:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • At least three years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, Teams including calendar management experience required
  • Experience with Paycom preferred
