  • Supports administration, coordination, and application of company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices including compliance with EEOC, DOL, OSHA, DHSR, NLRB, NC Division of MH/DD/SA, other state and federal laws, and CARF accreditation standards.
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Conducts audits of personnel files, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends action.
  • Coordinates paperwork related to benefits, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental, STD & LTD, FSA, 403B Retirement plan, supplemental insurance, COBRA, workers compensation, and unemployment.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Prepares job postings for vacant positions.
  • Schedules and coordinates new employee orientation, providing new hires with information on policies, procedures, and benefits; processes new hires for payroll and benefits enrollment.
  • Performs administrative tasks in support of the HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) group such as routine data input, output review for accuracy, and standard HR reports.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues, exercising confidentiality of all office matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • At least five (5) years of Human Resources experience.
  • Paylocity experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
