Human Resources Generalist Job at Fordland Clinic
Human Resources Generalist is responsible for coordinating the human resource activities of Fordland Clinic for 70-80 coworkers. Human Resources functions including maintenance of HR files, assisting administration and managers with HR functions, and other HR duties. Specific functions and responsibilities include:
- Provide consistent communication to administration, ensuring that information, reports, and materials are provided to clearly describe Human Resources activities and progress toward agreed upon objectives.
- Place employment ads, receive resumes, and organize them for review by administration.
- Arrange interviews and observation time with applicants as directed.
- Upon direction from administration, develop and/or change HR policies and procedures, job descriptions, and forms.
- Keep employee handbook up to date and distribute as necessary.
- Coordinate, develop, maintain, and assist in approving job descriptions for all Fordland Clinic positions
- Maintain Bamboo HR tracking system
- Organize and supervise employee training program in coordination with providers and supervisors, to include internal and external resources.
- Assist in administering performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity with organization.
- Assure timely completion of scheduled performance evaluations
- Coordinates employee recognition and benefit program(s).
- Process and assist management with disciplinary actions.
- Process employment separations and conduct exit interviews.
- Maintain and enforce personnel policies and procedures; recommend revisions as appropriate.
- Advise administration in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Respect and maintain employee confidentiality.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings.
- Other duties, as needed
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business administration, management, and/or human resources is preferred. Associate Degree with experience will be considered.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a similar position.
- Requires extensive knowledge of human resources laws.
- Computer experience in database management, word processing, and spreadsheets required.
