SUMMARY

We are growing and looking for an HR Generalist to join the team!! This skilled HR Professional is responsible for performing HR-related duties supporting the region (US, Canada, Mexico, S. America, Australia). This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: policy ownership and implementation, employee relations and investigations, performance management, compensation, and special projects as they relate to people processes including onboarding, recognition, coaching, mentorship and corporate social responsibility.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES include:

  • Provides full range of support to management and employees, responding to HR related questions. Assist with administering all corporate HR programs and processes within the operating company.
  • Facilitates problem solving and conflict resolution processes;
  • Ensures disciplinary policies and procedures are administered fairly and uniformly; reviews disciplinary actions and participates in investigations as needed. Advises in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues from incident reporting through final disposition and ensures employee relations issues are properly documented.
  • Administer compensation program, including approving compensation for new hires, promotions, transfers, etc. Ensure position descriptions are up-to-date. Maintain organizational charts.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition Specialist to prepare offers of employment; approve all compensation requests, ensuring compliance with company compensation guidelines.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities. Schedules and conducts exit interviews; reports on statistics form leaving employees, and makes general recommendations regarding trends.
  • Provides understanding and assures compliance with FLSA, ADA, Equal Employment Opportunity, and other federal and state employment laws.
  • Oversee employee development and training processes. Ensure training is completed by employees at all levels in a timely manner. Assists with Talent Assessment processes to ensure employee development needs are documented and achieved.
  • Prepare and present month end reporting materials. Use data mining as an opportunity to ensure accuracy of HR and Payroll information.
  • Communication skills – written and verbal


REQUIRMENTS

We are looking for a professional with a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of human resources experience at the professional level, who is a systems expert in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), HRIS, and ATS systems. Knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees in the Americas region, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance will be mandatory.
