Shalom House, Inc is the largest provider of community residential programs and housing for adults with severe and persistent mental illness in Maine. Shalom House, Inc. has a job opening for a Human Resources Generalist. The position is responsible for most aspects of recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and leave administration.
Minimum Requirements: Candidates for the HR Generalist position need a High School Diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates with at least three years of work experience in HR.
Schedule is Monday through Friday with hours agreed to by employee and supervisor.

The HR Generalist should have a valid Maine driver’s license with acceptable driving history. We do criminal background checks and driving history checks on all potential new hires.
